Icelandair takes off from Glasgow

Icelandair re-launches its service from Glasgow today, 27 August with two flights per week to/from Iceland. Flights will operate on Thursdays and Sundays. Then on 25 September, flights will increase to four flights per week operating on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Icelandair to reduce Glasgow operations

Icelandair has taken the decision to reduce its winter operation from Glasgow to Iceland during winter 08/09 with no flights from 4 December to 28 December and 8 January 2009 to 22 March 2009. Icelandair temporarily suspends Glasgow service

Due to the current economic conditions and a projected decrease in passenger traffic, Icelandair will temporarily suspend service from Glasgow from 26th March 2009 until 27th August 2009, with the exception of the Easter period flights on 9th and 12th April.
