IranAir announce online flight sale

To celebrate one year of online bookings through its increasingly popular website, iranair.co.uk , IranAir has released a package of special fares, only bookable online.

Starting with a special fully-inclusive return fare of just £312.70 from London to Tehran (£235 plus £77.70 taxes), the new promotional fares include add-on travel to major domestic destinations in Iran - including Isafahan, Bander Abbas, Mashad and Tabriz - for only £20.00 extra per sector.

Mr Daryoush Niknam, UK General Manager for Iran Air, said: "Increasingly our regular travellers are making their bookings using the online booking service. By making these very special fares available on-line, we are expecting more people to try this convenient booking channel. Now with four Boeing 747 flights each week from London Heathrow to Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, Iran Air has an increasing share of the market between the UK and Iran. However, we are very aware that we need to stay competitive, both by offering the lowest possible fares and the easiest possible booking process for our passengers."

The on-line booking service is provided in partnership with Gatwick-based Alternative Airlines, whose Managing Director, John Pope said: "Its a revelation how quickly this market has taken to using on-line booking. With this very special low fare promotion we expect the shift to online ticket purchasing to continue."
