Head to the sun for the price of a weekly shop

If you’ve missed all the travel sales or are not able to book future travel immediately, why not let American Airlines whisk you away to sunnier climes for the price of your weekly shopping courtesy of its new AAdvantage eShoppingSM programme instead?
The newly launched AAdvantage eShoppingSM programme enables AAdvantage members to add miles to their AAdvantage account simply by shopping online at any of the scheme’s retailer participants. Over 125 brand names, including the likes of Tesco, John Lewis, M&S, Ernest Jones, Homebase and iTunes are currently signed up, allowing members to earn up to 25 miles for every £1 spent online.
To see a full list of retailer participants, available rewards and to earn miles, members should visit www.aadvantageeshopping.co.uk and click on the desired retailer’s logo. They will then be prompted to enter their name and AAdvantage number before being forwarded to the retailers’ individual sites. Upon check-out, members will pay the same price as other customers but will additionally benefit from the relevant number of miles being added to their AAdvantage account.
Customers not yet signed up to American Airlines’ AAdvantage loyalty scheme can sign up for free online at AA.com and start reaping the rewards immediately. AAdvantage miles can then be redeemed on a range of benefits, including free flights, upgrades, car hire, hotels and more.
