Volvo extend DRIVe range
Volvo is extending its green DRIVe range after dramatically reducing CO2 levels and increasing fuel efficiency in seven models. The full DRIVe range will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show on 3 March 2009 and will now include the XC60 crossover, V70 and XC70 premium estates and S80 executive saloon. The current DRIVe cars, C30 SportsCoupe, S40 saloon and V50 Sportswagon all offer class leading CO2 emissions thanks to an intelligent Start/Stop system. All the new DRIVe models will be available in the UK in summer 2009 with further specification and pricing details being announced closer to the time.
Volvo drives down emissions and tax bills with new diesel engines

Volvo dealers have been placing their bids over the last week and the highest were announced today and included a generous £1,001 for Peter Rask, managing director, and £600 for Nick Connor, sales director. The Auction, along with staff and customer donations, has helped raise an impressive £3,000 for Comic Relief.

Volvo R-Design gets an environmental conscience
Volvo has strengthened its DRIVe range by combining the DRIVe technologies with its sports-inspired R-DESIGN bodykit to offer C30, S40 and V50 models with low levels of emissions and the highest levels of visual appeal. The new DRIVe R-DESIGN models are available to order now with prices starting at £17,240 for the C30 while the S40 and V50 start at £19,095 and £20,595 respectively.
Volvo intends to participate in Government Scrappage Scheme
In keeping with Volvo's long term commitment to customer needs Volvo is delighted to confirm its intention to participate in the Government's scrappage scheme announced today. Not only will Volvo match the Government's incentive but it will also provide an additional deposit contribution to enable owners of scrapped cars to benefit from outstanding fuel economy of 72.4 miles per gallon from a new C30 DRIVe for only £210 per month with no further deposit required. The S40 saloon and V50 Sportswagon DRIVe models will be available for monthly payments of £300 and £305 respectively.
