First Trader 75 Superyacht set for spring launch

16 February 2009

Following the successful launch of the Trader 70 Superyacht in 2007, Emsworth, UK based Tarquin Boat Company has revealed that her larger sister and the company’s new flagship model, the Trader 75 Superyacht, is all set to be unveiled this spring. Featuring many new design innovations to allow both crew and guests to live comfortably on board, the Trader 75 Superyacht will be the largest Trader on the water and has been designed to provide the ultimate in luxury.

Designers have worked cleverly on the internal layout of the new Trader 75 to ensure that guests and crew can be accommodated separately which is unusual for a craft this size. Eight guests can be accommodated in four magnificent en-suite cabins and two to three crew accommodated in a self contained crew suite, which has direct access to the galley, exterior decks and engine room allowing complete separation from the guest party when required.

The exterior of the Trader 75 exudes all the characteristics of a Superyacht with its ‘big boat’ feel and spacious entertainment areas. The flybridge features a full service al fresco galley complimented by seating for ten and there is a substantial dining area on the sheltered aft deck. In a unique development, the Trader 75 Superyacht features covered side decks allowing owners to move about the craft in all weathers with ease.

Inside, the Trader 75 is light and airy having been fitted throughout with Anigre, a light tan heartwood and a range of luxurious contemporary furnishings and fabrics. The main deck of the interior is a full 44ft from aft deck doors to windscreen and includes a full beam saloon, galley and dining area as well as a separate day head, wheelhouse with viewing seats and internal stairs to the flybridge. Designed to offer the Trader Generation II ‘home from home’ comfort, the Trader 75 Superyacht is equipped with the latest in domestic appliances, as well as a full complement of entertainment services and flat panel TVs throughout the accommodation.

As with all Trader Motoryachts, below decks owners and guests have their own stairwells for greater privacy. The owners’ suite is aft and is a spacious 28ft. Featuring the signature Trader transom bay-view window offering magnificent views as well as privacy, the Trader 75 Superyacht is designed around the owner’s individual requirements. To complete the owner’s suite, a wet room shower or bath is available to suit individual preferences.

Every detail of construction has been considered in terms of comfort on board. Double bulkheads and isolated floors are matched with a comprehensive insulation package to reduce noise and vibration. The drive train includes custom turbine shaped 5-bladed propellers and the POSEIDON coupling system isolates the engine from the yacht’s structure.

The comprehensive system design of the Trader 75 Superyacht utilises the finest components available and full collaboration with the suppliers has helped to ensure full integration. Designed with comfortable and independent passage making in mind, the systems required for this type of cruising are supplied as standard.

The launch of new Trader 75 Superyacht marks another landmark development for Tarquin in its 30thAnniversary year. This spring also sees the launch of the company’s highly anticipated new high performance weekend cruiser, the Trader 38 Sprint. The first Trader 75 Superyacht will be launched in the spring at Tarquin’s UK headquarters in Emsworth before being delivered to the Italian Riviera.
