BRP launches exclusive Evinrude E-TEC program

BRP has introduced an exclusive "2009 Five-Year Warranty" Spring program offer to any customer purchasing an Evinrude E-TEC engine from a participating authorised BRP UK dealer from 9th January – 30th April 2009. Customers who purchase a new, unused model year 2009 Evinrude outboard engine 40HP and greater, sold and warranty registered during this period, will receive an extended limited warranty in addition to the existing limited warranty that is currently offered on new engines purchased.

The extended warranty gives customers a 5-Year Factory Backed Limited Warranty, which includes a 3-year BRP Factory Warranty plus an additional 2-year or 1,000 hours of lifetime usage BRP extended coverage.

Evinrude E-TEC engines deliver high power and low weight for exceptional performance and efficiency. The design of the Evinrude E-TEC enables its assembly head to consist of only two parts, so there are no belts, no timing chains, camshafts or valves to change. This results in no scheduled dealer maintenance required for three years or 300 hours.

This promotional program does not cover units with commercial and rental uses or demos.

This promotional program coverage excludes certain types of repairs (e.g. for wear and tear). Please refer to the ‘Exclusion’ section of the warranty (and the Warranty Guide).

Coverage is fully transferable but not cancellable, at no charge, provided BRP procedure is followed.

Retail sales warranty registered prior to 9th January 2009 or after 30th April 2009 are excluded.

The promotional extended limited warranty coverage cannot be substituted or exchanged for cash.
