If you spend on dental checks and treatment, eye tests and spectacles, or complementary therapies like physiotherapy, acupuncture and chiropractic, you can get a helping hand with the payments.

An engage Health Cash Plan gives cash back on all these health costs and what's more, you won't have to wait before you can claim.

Whilst many health cash plans include a claims waiting period of up to 13 weeks for new customers, engage allows you to claim straight away on a range of seven different health costs and benefits (excluding maternity/paternity/adoption). Choose between gold or platinum level plans, pay either £10.50 or £19 per month, and you can make a claim without the wait - a real bonus in these cash-strapped times.

You can also get cash help in the event that you need to undergo health screening or you stay overnight for hospital treatment. Whilst pre-existing medical conditions are not covered, except for optical and dental, the plan is easy to take out and does not require a medical examination.
